Добрый день!

Перенес сайт с open server на хостинг (в силу разных причин nic.ru). В этом деле новичок. Служба поддержки пока ничем не помогает, кивают на неверную настройку и все.

открыл файл лога ошибок. Копирую только за сегодня, пробовал менять что-то, не помогло, может кто подскажет?

Попробуйте воспользоваться поиском на этом форуме, я уже пару раз отвечал на подобные вопросы, есть подробная инструкция от Prestashop

вы знаете, буквально вчера на офсайте натыкался на рекоммендации по настройке сервера - это раз.
и второе - конкретно было сообщение в ленте о проблеме ошибки 500
